Thermal printers in Egypt

Direct thermal printers apply heat to chemically treated paper instead of transferring ink. There is no cartridge, no ribbon and no print head cleaning cycle, which makes them the cheapest printers to run and the most reliable in dusty environments.

The trade-off is longevity: thermal print fades with heat and sunlight over months, so it suits receipts and shipping labels rather than permanent archive records.

Where thermal makes sense

• Receipts — the paper outlasts the period anyone needs it.
• Shipping labels — read once at delivery.
• Queue tickets and order slips — used within minutes.

For labels that must survive months of handling or outdoor exposure, thermal transfer models using a ribbon are the better choice and are stocked separately. All priced in EGP with delivery across Egypt.
