Xprinter K260L is a network thermal receipt printer with an Ethernet interface.
The network connection is the point of this model. A printer on the network has its own address, so several tills, a tablet and a back-office machine can all print to it independently — and replacing any one of those computers changes nothing. A USB printer belongs to a single machine and stops when that machine does.
This is also the right way to drive a kitchen printer. Kitchens are electrically noisy and full of metal and moisture, and a dropped wireless packet there means a missed order rather than a reprint; a cable does not drop packets.
Give it a fixed IP address or a DHCP reservation. A printer that takes a different address after a power cut is the single most common cause of a POS printer that stops working overnight.
